Before anything else, we create a container of safety. This means you always have choice, you’re never put on the spot, and your boundaries are always respected. Feeling safe is the foundation for healing.
Our Story
Why I Started Free to Be
I started Free to Be after years of watching people patients colleagues friends and even myself carry silent emotional weight while appearing fine on the outside. As a doctor I saw how often anxiety burnout and low mood were not just about illness but about lives lived under constant pressure to perform conform and suppress who we truly are.
I realised many people do not lack strength or motivation. They lack permission. Permission to move freely express emotion exist without judgement and reconnect with joy in their own bodies.
Free to Be was born from a simple truth. Self expression is essential for mental wellbeing. Through carefree dance and movement without choreography mirrors alcohol or expectations people are given space to release tension reconnect with themselves and feel joy in a safe natural way.
Free to Be is not about dancing well. It is about being present being authentic and being human. It is about learning to feel comfortable in your own skin again. I started Free to Be to help people remember what it feels like to be alive unfiltered and free because when people feel free inside healing begins.
