We begin with a warm check-in. Share as much or as little as you like.

Common questions

It’s natural to have questions. Here are answers to some of the most common ones.

What if i feel nervous?

That’s completely normal and very welcome. Many people feel nervous before their first session. You’ll be gently guided and there’s never any pressure. You can participate at whatever level feels comfortable, and you’re always free to simply observe.

Do i have to dance?
Not at all. Dance therapy isn’t about performing or following steps. It’s about movement that feels right for you. That might be swaying, stretching, walking, or even just breathing. Your body knows what it needs.

What should i wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move freely in. There’s no dress code—just wear whatever helps you feel at ease. Bare feet or soft shoes are fine.
Can i sit out or leave early?
Absolutely. Your comfort and safety come first. You can take a break, sit quietly, or leave at any time without explanation. This is your space, your pace, your choice.
Do i need to be fit or flexible?
No fitness level or flexibility required. Sessions are designed for all bodies and all abilities. Everything can be adapted to suit you.
